Survey Prep / Trigonometry

Grade 9/10

Surveying for Grades 10 children is a fascinating interdisciplinary scientific activity highly relevant to each of us. Surveying, therefore, is included in all Waldorf school curriculums as a matter of course. By exposing young adolescents to multiple points of contact across continents with this important science and introducing them to its very fluid reasoning, the Waldorf curriculum aims to empower these students to deal with the subject of self-reliant, discriminating personalities.

This camp is a Surveying Preparatory course focusing on basic math, trigonometry, and physical endurance training required for the Grade 10 Surveying.

They will also play local sports, swim, and games, ensuring a holistic experience involving their thinking (head), feeling (heart), and willing (hands) faculties, which underpins the learning process.

Our past camps and excursions have been hugely successful due to stellar participation from like-minded parents and caregivers.
