About the workshop
In 9th through 11th-grades Waldorf literature, students typically study a curriculum that explores the modern era and the development of the individual, often focusing on themes of the self, independence, and the challenges of the modern world. The curriculum integrates artistic and practical activities, where students write and illustrate their own books on the literary works they study.
Learning Outcomes
Practical Theater Work
Warm-ups and improvisation build confidence and expressive capacity.
Students engage in role work and character immersion, moving from observation to personal emotional expression, guided by reflective journal prompts and teacher feedback.
Creative assignments include designing props, costumes, and set backdrops, while musical or movement activities help embody mood and theme.
